What does made to order mean?

Made to order means that the product is created especially for a specific person. It means that an item is not first prepared/manufactured with the intention of later selling it to a future customer. We make the product for you after you have placed your order and it will be personalised for you with your name on the tag together with the name of the person who made it. The product will be made according to our standard sizes and predefined materials unless you forward any specific requests.

What does ready to wear mean?

Ready to wear or prêt-à-porter is the term for factory-made clothing, sold in finished condition, in standardized sizes, as distinct from made to order or tailor-made clothing made to a particular person’s frame. Off-the-peg is sometimes used for items which are not clothing, such as various accessories. In the fashion industry, designers produce ready-to-wear clothing intended to be worn without significant alteration, because clothing made to standard sizes fits most people.

How does it work to order/ship products made with reptile skins?

Exporting for example crocodile or python skin involves a somewhat complicated process with a lot of paperwork. This can increase the delivery time with 25–30 extra days. Python skins can be shipped all over the world but not to California, USA.

If you live outside the EU we arrange an export permit for the reptile skin, but you need to obtain the import permit yourself.

Are your reptile skins legally imported/acquired?

Yes, we have all the certifications needed to buy and use reptile skins and will give you all the certification documents when delivering your product. We work solely with certified and approved suppliers. All our reptile skins are bought from one of the leading reptile suppliers in the world, from Milan in Italy and Paris in France. You can read more about it on the Swedish Board of Agriculture web site, feel free to klick here. If you have any questions about this, we would be happy to help.
